Lyft 420 Marijuana Campaign
Rideshare company Lyft is launching a unique PSA campaign this Friday, 4/20 in areas where recreational marijuana consumption is legal. Lyft wants to raise awareness about the consequences of driving under the influence of marijuana and be a safe, reliable, and affordable 420 partner with those who partake.
Lyft Offers Discounted Rides on 420
On April 20, Lyft will also offer discounted rides to get smokers home safe — or maybe just to enjoy the new movie Super Troopers 2 in theaters. Is marijuana legal in your state? Find out what’s happening near you in Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Portland or check out the official Lyft 420 announcement here.
Take a Lyft But Don't Drive a Lyft On Pot- Drug Policy
Although Lyft is happy to partner with marijuana participants in these areas, please don't ask your Lyft driver to smoke pot with you. Lyft maintains a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy for Lyft drivers. Not only is it their policy, the PSA was designed to create awareness. Be smart.
